Commercial Storage - FAQ's

Q. Can we store in commercial quantities?

A. Yes. There is facility for pallet storage, as well as large and small enclosures. Shelved enclosures or cubicles can also be provided.

Q. Can you provide warehouse documentation?

A. Yes. If goods are brought to the warehouse without documentation, our own documentation is raised.

Q. Can you load/unload container?

A. Yes. We have materials handling equipment for container loads.

Q. Can you take container deliveries?

A. We can load and unload containers, but we cannot store containers on site.

Q. Can you pick/pack/dispatch goods?

A. Yes, we perform this function for many of our diversified clients.

Q. What security does your facility have?

A. The warehouse is monitored by a central security control room and also has night and weekend patrols.

Q. What are your operating hours?

A. The warehouse is attended Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4.30 pm. By prior arrangement we can attend outside these hours.

Q. Do you store dangerous goods?

A. No – we are not licensed for hazardous goods.

Q. Do you have a coldstore?

A. No, we cannot assist with cold storage.

Q. Do you have archival storage facilities?

A. We are a general storage facility and do not have the specialised equipment for archive storage/retrieval.

Q. Do you provide insurance?

A. No, clients arrange their own insurance if required.

Q. Is there any documentation required to store goods?

A. We provide a fully comprehensive legal Storage Agreement. There is no charge for this documentation.

Q. Do we have to pay a security deposit?

A. A security deposit the equivalent of one month’s rental is required. This is refundable at the end of the storage period.

Q. Is there a time limit on storage?

A. No, you can store for whatever period of time you require.

Q. How would my goods be stored?

A. As agreed between the parties.

Q. Can I store household goods?

A. Yes, most household items can be stored at our facility.

Q. When can I get in?

A. The warehouse is open Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 4.30 pm or by prior arrangement outside these hours.

Q. Can I access my goods whenever I want to – for instance if I want to take something out or add something to my stored items?

A. Yes, the warehouse is open Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 4.30 pm or by prior arrangement outside these hours.

Q. Where would my household goods be stored?

A. Depending on quantity and type of goods, as agreed between the parties – in locked cubicle or on pallets is the most usual method.

Q. Do you insure my goods?

A. If a client requires insurance, they would arrange this.

Q. Do you provide removalist services?

A. No, although we may be able to assist with transport of small quantities in the local area.
